Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tyler Durdan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jean Charles Skarbowsky!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durdan slips a jab and a cross from Skarbowsky.
Skarbowsky is looking to clinch.

Durdan looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Skarbowsky is avoiding damage well.
Durdan wants to control but Skarbowsky is keeping him busy.
Skarbowsky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Durdan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Durdan drops back looking for a leg! Skarbowsky is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Skarbowsky manages to kick Durdan off! Durdan jumps back into Skarbowsky's guard.

Durdan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Durdan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Durdan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Skarbowsky wants to stand but Durdan is controlling the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Durdan postures up in Skarbowsky's guard and throws a big left but Skarbowsky blocks it.
Durdan looking to sit in guard and control but Skarbowsky gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Skarbowsky wants to stand but Durdan has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Durdan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Skarbowsky gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Durdan has a closed guard, preventing Skarbowsky from standing up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Skarbowsky is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Durdan pushes a forearm under Skarbowsky's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Skarbowsky is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
