Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gundar Thorsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector LaRue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thorsen comes to the cage accompanied by Thunder struck- ACDC. Hector LaRue has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaRue avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
LaRue misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Thorsen counters with a right hand to the body.
LaRue throws a lazy uppercut
letting Thorsen counter with a right hand.
LaRue throws a poor cross that misses
and Thorsen counters with a low kick, right behind LaRue 's knee.
LaRue misses with a left hand
and Thorsen counters with a good low kick that LaRue was not able to check.
LaRue misses with a body punch
and Thorsen counters with a lovely shot to the body.
LaRue throws a sloppy body shot
and Thorsen counters with a big head kick but LaRue shrugs it off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Thorsen counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
LaRue looks gassed!
Thorsen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping LaRue at a distance.
Thorsen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but LaRue moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Thorsen throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Thorsen looks to land a combination but LaRue avoids it well.
LaRue drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A lazy left from Thorsen finds it's target.
It looks like Hector LaRue has been cut.
Thorsen is looking to wear down LaRue with body shots, in fact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Thorsen connects with a leg kick. LaRue looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Thorsen tries a head kick but it misses.
Thorsen keeps LaRue at a distance using the push kick.
LaRue walks into a straight right hand from Thorsen.
No joy there for Thorsen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hector LaRue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
LaRue darts in trying to clinch
enabling Thorsen to counter with a crisp jab.
Thorsen throws a series of punches but LaRue avoids them all with ease.
LaRue with a lazy takedown attempt
and Thorsen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
LaRue throws a predictable looking body shot
and Thorsen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thorsen scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
LaRue takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

LaRue takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Thorsen lands a body shot.
Thorsen connects with a right hand. LaRue shakes it off.

Thorsen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

letting Thorsen counter with a right hand.
That has opened up Hector LaRue's cut even more.
Thorsen is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Thorsen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Thorsen cracks the inside of LaRue's front leg.
Thorsen jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Thorsen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Thorsen is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
LaRue walks into a left hand.
Thorsen lands a nice hook to LaRue's body. LaRue takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A decent looking cross lands there for Thorsen.
Thorsen throws a series of punches but LaRue avoids them all with ease.
Thorsen is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Thorsen displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
LaRue misses the body punch
and Thorsen counters with a good, hard body kick but LaRue shrugs it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The cut above Hector LaRue's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
LaRue takes a kick to the side of the head.
Thorsen lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A nice leg kick lands there from Thorsen.
LaRue misses with a shot to the body
enabling Thorsen to counter with a crisp jab.
Hector LaRue's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
LaRue takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Thorsen scores with a hook.
Danga de danga de dang - Thorsen scores with a four punch combination!
LaRue is rocked!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hector LaRue's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
