Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Lachance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Gable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gable has chosen Rick Derringer - I am a Real American as his entrance music. Dan Gable has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Lachance! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Gable! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lachance tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Gable counters with a takedown into side control. Lachance is trying to improve his position. Gable is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Lachance sneaks back into half guard. Gable works his way into side control. Lachance is being controlled here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lachance tries to bench press Gable off him but Gable keeps the position. Lachance is not content to let Gable control the position. Gable tries to move to mount but Lachance blocks the move with his legs. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lachance is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Gable content to control rather than advance. Lachance makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lachance. Gable tries to free his leg and advance position but Lachance is retaining full guard. Lachance wants to sweep here but Gable controlling him for the moment. Lachance working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gable doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gable manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gable avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gable has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Lachance to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Gable is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Lachance pulls down on the head and he's put Gable to sleep! This one is all over!
