Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Alves!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goenji misses with a takedown
and Alves counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Alves gets caught flat footed, as Goenji shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Goenji stands and steps away. Alves gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Goenji rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Alves cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Goenji closes the distance looking to clinch
enabling Alves to counter with a crisp jab.
Goenji tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Alves connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Goenji has his takedown stuffed
enabling Alves to counter with a crisp jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Alves scores with a spinning back kick!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alves throws a nice head kick!
Goenji gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Alves counters with a head kick that wobbles Goenji - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Alves sends him down. This one is all over!
