Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Spinx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavin Mia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spinx's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eye of the Tiger. Mia has chosen It's a Fight as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spinx tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nice takedown defense from Spinx. No joy for Mia on that attempt.
Mia shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Spinx as he jumps to the side.
Mia tries to close the distance and clinch up but Spinx swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Spinx closes the distance and clinches.
Mia is looking to control Spinx's arms but Spinx gets an underhook and turns him. Now Mia has his back to the cage.
Mia is trying to break the clinch but Spinx has him pressed against the cage.
Mia tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Spinx smiles and moves away.
Jack Spinx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gavin Mia.
Mia motions for Spinx to come forward. Mia throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mia gets a takedown into half guard.
Spinx regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Mia.
Mia wants to stand and escape but instead Spinx has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spinx wants to control from the top but Mia keeps moving.
Mia looking for a guillotine here but Spinx defends easily.

Spinx pushes down on Mia's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Mia is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Spinx stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Mia to get to his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Spinx as Mia shoots in.
Mia shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Spinx's guard.
Mia looks gassed!
Mia has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Spinx is proving hard to escape from.
Spinx looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mia drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Spinx manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mia has Spinx in his guard.

Mia has his foot on Spinx's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Spinx works his way back into a safe position though.
Spinx slips nicely into half guard.
Mia moves into full guard.
Mia looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mia working for submissions but it's allowed Spinx to get to half guard.
Mia tries to get to full guard but Spinx has control of the leg.

Mia gets back to full guard.

You can see the frustration on Mia's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Spinx tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Spinx has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Mia tries to bench press Spinx off him but Spinx keeps the position.

Spinx cracks Mia with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Mia is looking for a sweep.
Spinx working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Mia is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Mia is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Spinx throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Spinx passes to full mount!
Mia is looking to get to half guard.
Spinx forces the positional change into back control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jack Spinx will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Spinx has closed the distance and engaged Mia in a clinch.
Spinx jumps into guard, dragging Mia to the mat.
Spinx looking for a sweep. Not yet Spinx, not yet.
Mia wants to stand but Spinx has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Spinx looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mia wants to pass the guard but Spinx is keeping the position.
Spinx looking to control.
Mia postures up and lands a big shot to Spinx's brow.
Mia looking to pass the guard.
Mia is breathing heavily.
Mia wants to stand but Spinx is controlling his posture from full guard.

Mia tries to free his leg and advance position but Spinx is retaining full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Spinx tries to clinch up but Mia circles away and keeps his distance.
Mia looks for a takedown but Spinx sprawls well.
Mia looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mia trying to mount his opponent but Spinx defends it.
Mia is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Spinx defends it well.
Mia seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Mia wants to pass to mount but Spinx is defending the position.

Mia passes the guard and advances to mount!
Gavin Mia has got the better of the ground game so far.
Mia wants to take Spinx's back but he can't do it this time.
Mia jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Spinx is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Spinx and Mia has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Mia tries for a kimura but Spinx is defending well.
Spinx stops Mia from passing to mount.
Mia advances nicely into full mount.
Mia wants to take Spinx's back but he can't do it this time.

Mia swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
