Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Dover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolo Pup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pup has chosen Stone Cold as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rolo Pup will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Dover! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rolo Pup! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dover tries to clinch up. Dover throws a lazy right hand but Pup sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Dover moves into the clinch. Pup wants the takedown. Dover is fighting it off but Pup persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dover's guard against the ropes. Dover not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dover keeping moving, preventing Pup from controlling successfully. Pup stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dover swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pup drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dover looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dover looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dover! Dover stands up and beckons Pup to his feet. Dover connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Dover shoots in but no luck this time. Dover throws a right and a left that both miss. Dover looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dover is trying to control. Pup wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Pup wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are battling for position here. Pup manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Dover trying to control the position from guard on top but Pup is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Pup wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Pup is striking from the bottom but Dover uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Dover decides to return to a standing position. Dover looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pup is fending him off so far but Dover persists. Nope, Pup circles away and we're back to standing. Dover throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Ben Dover seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dover shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pup as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Dover. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dover wants to clinch. Pup throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dover was covering up waiting for the punch and Pup finishes the takedown easily into guard. Dover is breathing heavily. Pup stands and throws Dover's legs to the side, diving into side control. Dover wants to get back to his feet but Pup drags him back down. Pup decides to stand back up. Pup steps back and let's Dover get back to his feet. Dover misses with a takedown attempt and Pup counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pup trying to control the position from guard on top but Dover is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pup drops back looking for a leg! Dover is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dover manages to kick Pup off! Pup jumps back into Dover's guard. Pup is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Pup wants to pass the guard but Dover is keeping the position. Pup passes Dover's left leg - he's now in half guard. Pup is working for a kimura but Dover is defending it quite comfortably.

Dover looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Pup postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Pup trying to control but Dover is working from the bottom. Pup postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dover is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pup is controlling him. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Pup stands up and waves to Dover to follow him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rolo Pup dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

Dover might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dover won't allow Pup to sweep him here. Dover wants to control from the top but Pup keeps moving. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Dover stands up and waves to Pup to follow him. Dover shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Pup counters with a nice double leg into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pup is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Pup wants to control from the top but Dover keeps moving. That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Rolo Pup wasn't active enough on the ground. Pup shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dover but Dover pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's going to take a lot out of Rolo Pup. Dover closes the distance and pushes Pup back into the ropes. Pup jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dover walks away with a smile on his face. Pup gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Dover throws a head kick that misses and Pup counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Dover is trying to maintain the position but Pup is very close to passing his half guard. Pup is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dover is just riding it out for now. Pup eventually gives up the hold.

Pup works his foot free and advances to mount. Pup is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Pup gets a clinch. Pup pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Excellent takedown into side control there by Pup. Pup is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dover knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

He's almost out here... but no, Pup gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Dover struggling a bit here. Dover takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Pup goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Dover rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Pup's guard! Nice work there by Dover! Rolo Pup showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Pup closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Dover punching from the bottom.
Pup not landing any meaningful shots this time. Pup is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dover doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pup. Dover is trying to stand up here but Pup is controlling him well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Pup moves into full mount! Dover won't be happy about that! Rolo Pup has got the better of the ground game so far. Pup looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Dover flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pup with shots to the head and body - Dover looks very uncomfortable down there. Dover tries to reverse the position but Pup maintains control. Pup is standing up, even though he is in mount. Dover lands a leg kick that knocks Pup off balance momentarily. Dover gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Pup counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Pup. Pup breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dover throws a sloppy head kick and Pup counters with a shoot takedown. Dover fights it but they end up in guard. Pup stands and steps away. Dover gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Pup misses with a takedown and Dover decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pup's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pup is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Dover escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Pup throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Dover has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pup is working away from the top position though. Pup wants to take a breather but Dover is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pup is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Dover keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dover tries to hold on but Pup postures up. Dover is trying desperately to improve position. Pup working for a submission but Dover is keeping him at bay. Dover is trying to get to the ropes to help him get back to his feet.
Rolo Pup is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pup sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Pup lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Dover tries to lock up and control but Pup gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Pup has hold of Dover's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dover manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Dover is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Pup trying to control but he's not successful this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dover sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Dover is trying to stand back up but Pup is controlling him
Ben Dover has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pup working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
And that's the end of the fight! Rolo Pup comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Pup winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
