Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Nolan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stefan Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nolan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Truth. Robert Nolan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Nolan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stefan Miller!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nolan throws the left hand but Miller avoids the punch easily.

Nolan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Miller quickly recovers to half guard.
Nolan tries to pass to full mount but Miller defends it.
Nolan keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Nolan decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Miller misses with a takedown attempt
and Nolan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Miller shoots in and drives through. Nolan sprawls well.
Nolan looks to land a right hand but Miller moved out of range.

It looks like Robert Nolan has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nolan has one foot on Miller's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Miller slips a straight right by Nolan.
Miller closes the distance and clinches up with Nolan, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes Nolan against the cage but Nolan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Nolan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Miller.
Robert Nolan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Miller shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nolan sprawls well. Nolan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Miller gets slowly back to his feet.

Miller throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nolan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Miller is in Nolan's guard.

Miller decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nolan. Miller does a little dance to reset his feet.
Miller scores with a head kick.
Nolan takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Miller closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Nolan did well to prevent Miller getting side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Miller thows a huge punch but Nolan dodges it nicely.

Nolan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Robert Nolan.
I think Nolan has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
