The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chamakh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Beyer.
Beyer connects with a body shot that sends Chamakh's belly button to the back.
Beyer gets caught flat footed, as Chamakh shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Beyer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chamakh gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Chamakh tries to free his leg and advance position but Beyer is retaining full guard.
Beyer is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Chamakh frees his head nicely. Oh but Beyer has switched to an armbar! Chamakh is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
