Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alan Charuto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominique Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charuto comes to the cage accompanied by Sergio Mendes - Joga Bontio. Rogers has chosen Ashes to Ashes as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers ducks under a wild hook from Charuto.
Rogers closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Charuto quickly recovers to half guard.
Charuto moves into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rogers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Charuto swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rogers is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Charuto is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Rogers working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Rogers postures up.
Rogers pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Charuto is keeping the position for now.
Rogers lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Rogers trying to control the position from guard on top but Charuto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Dominique Rogers has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Charuto misses with a double jab.
Rogers fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Charuto, pushing him back against the cage.
Rogers pulls guard.

Charuto avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Rogers is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Rogers looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Charuto thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Rogers has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Charuto can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Charuto wants to control from the top but Rogers keeps moving.
Rogers looking to hit a scissor sweep but Charuto is one step ahead there.
Rogers manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Rogers postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Charuto looks a forlorn figure.

Rogers fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Rogers has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Rogers connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
It looks like Alan Charuto has been cut.
Charuto is bucking up trying to escape but Rogers cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Rogers breaks from Charuto's wrist control and lands an elbow.
