Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nalle Puh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Slate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puh comes to the cage accompanied by Nalle Puhin uudet seikkailut. Slate is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Some song he made last night. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slate tries to bum rush Puh with a series of wild strikes but Puh uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Slate shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Puh eats them both and turns towards Slate to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Slate connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Puh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Puh pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Puh tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Slate manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

No joy there for Slate, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Puh moves forwards but Slate connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Slate throws a shot from downtown. Puh moves away and avoids it.
Slate lands a jab to Puh's midsection.
Puh is breathing heavily.
Puh closes the distance looking to clinch
and Slate cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Slate sizes up Puh with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Slate fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Puh manages to avoid it.
Slate misses with a few strikes there.
Slate throws a right and a left that Puh avoids nicely.
Slate fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Puh looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Puh ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slate moves away.

Puh shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A jab lands there for Slate.

Slate lands with a hook. Puh tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Slate lands with an uppercut that bounces Puh off the cage and back into rage.

Slate scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Puh uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Slate.
Puh has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Oh Puh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big left from Slate misses.
Slate throws a series of punches but Puh moves out of range.
Puh seems to have got his legs back now.
Puh on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Puh gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Puh tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Slate is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Puh buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Puh!! Puh is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Slate throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
