Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Przemyslaw Nowak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Moreland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Przemyslaw Nowak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jesse Moreland! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Vladimir Khabensky and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moreland throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Moreland throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Nowak on the side of the head. Moreland takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Moreland defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nowak. Nowak misses the body punch and Moreland counters with a right hand to the body. Moreland throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nowak. Nowak tries to clinch but fails miserably and Moreland counters with a nice uppercut. Nowak has his takedown stuffed and Moreland decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Nowak's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Moreland has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Nowak is proving hard to escape from. Moreland stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nowak swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nowak looking for a sweep. Not yet Nowak, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nowak uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Nowak shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Nowak decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Nowak throws a left and a right that both miss
and Moreland counters with a two punch combo. Moreland looks gassed! Nowak misses with a takedown and Moreland counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Przemyslaw Nowak. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nowak closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Moreland quickly recovers to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moreland tries to kick Nowak off in order to stand up. Nowak Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nowak has hold of Moreland's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Moreland tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Nowak cranks the arm and Moreland screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Moreland, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Przemyslaw Nowak!
