Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcus Maximus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Pain! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pain stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pain wants it to stay on the feet. Pain swinging wildly here.
Maximus is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pain sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Danga de danga de dang - Pain scores with a four punch combination! Maximus takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Maximus misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Maximus. That's going to take a lot out of him. Maximus is breathing heavily. Maximus throws a combination that misses and Pain counters with a three punch combo that has Maximus backing up. Maximus nods at Pain to acknowledge the strikes. Maximus moves out of range of the strikes. Pain misses with a hook. Maximus takes one on the button. Pain misses the jab. Pain wants to clinch up but Maximus keeps it at a distance. Maximus showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pain.
Pain blocks a jab. Maximus gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Pain counters with a one-two to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Max Pain is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pain fails in his attempt to clinch. Pain throws a right and a left that both miss. Pain lands a two punch combo.
Pain misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pain is looking to clinch but Maximus is avoiding it.
Maximus misses with a straight left. Pain tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Maximus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Pain scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Maximus closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pain to the mat! Pain manages to get full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pain wants to get back to his feet but Maximus is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Maximus postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pain is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Maximus, into his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pain wanted to stand there but Maximus had control of the position. Pain stands and steps away. Maximus gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Maximus is looking to clinch but Pain is avoiding it.
Maximus shoots and misses letting Pain counter with a right hand. Some wild striking there from Pain.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maximus shoots and misses and Pain counters with a one-two to the body. Maximus looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Pain looks to clinch and Maximus counters with a two punch combo. Maximus swats away the attempt to clinch by Pain. Maximus takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Maximus doesn't succeed with the takedown and Pain counters by clinching up. Maximus gets control of Pain's arms and successfully pulls guard. Maximus will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Pain must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Pain wants to stand but Maximus is controlling his posture from full guard. Maximus is looking for a triangle but Pain pushes his legs off easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pain wanted to stand there but Maximus had control of the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Pain wants to stand and escape but instead Maximus has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Maximus loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Pain dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Maximus fails with the takedown and Pain moves into the clinch. Maximus gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Pain wants to get back to his feet but Maximus passes into half guard.
Pain is trying to stand up here but Maximus is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maximus uses his free foot to push down on Pain's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pain. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pain has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain is squirming around looking to escape but he's just wriggling himself into more trouble. Maximus sinks in the hooks and manages to tighten his grip on a rear naked choke. Pain has no choice but to tap and Maximus jumps to his feet to celebrate and slick submission win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Marcus Maximus!
