Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blake Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Treen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blake Stevenson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mickey Treen! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Treen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stevenson. Stevenson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A chopping leg kick lands by Treen. Stevenson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Treen gets in close and instigates a clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Stevenson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Treen is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Stevenson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Treen breaks from the clinch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Treen.
Stevenson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Stevenson looks to land a body kick but Treen moved away. Treen lands a jab-cross combination. Treen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stevenson has a takedown stuffed. Treen shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Stevenson eats them both and turns towards Treen to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Blake Stevenson has been cut. Treen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Stevenson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Treen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Treen's back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevenson is looking for the choke from the back position but Treen is controlling his hands well. Stevenson throws strikes from the back but Treen rolls nicely and manages to end up in full guard. Nice work by Treen. Stevenson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Treen pulls Stevenson in close to prevent any damage. Stevenson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Treen is keeping the position for now. Stevenson is breathing heavily. Stevenson wants to control from the top but Treen keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Stevenson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Treen dives on top into guard. Treen looking to pass the guard. Stevenson wants to get back to his feet but Treen is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Treen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. I looks like Treen might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mickey Treen was stalling too much, according to the referee. Stevenson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Treen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blake Stevenson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stevenson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Treen shoots in for a double leg but Stevenson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Treen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Treen gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Treen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

A good leg kick by Treen. Treen gets a takedown into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Treen in particular looking to stall. Let's hope that Treen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mickey Treen dominated that round. The cut man is working on Blake Stevenson's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Treen scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Treen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stevenson napping and manages to drive through into side control! Treen decides to stand back up. Treen steps back and let's Stevenson get back to his feet. Stevenson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Blake Stevenson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Treen closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Stevenson quickly recovers to half guard. Treen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Treen perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Stevenson tries to roll over but Treen keeps him under control. Treen trying to control the pace. Treen takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Treen seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Treen is taking a breather. Stevenson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mickey Treen has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Left hook, right uppercut from Treen. Treen delivers a nice body kick. Treen scores with a jab to the body. Treen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Treen decides to stand back up. Treen steps back and let's Stevenson get back to his feet. Treen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Stevenson tries to roll over but Treen keeps him under control. Treen is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevenson tries to kick Treen off in order to stand up. Treen Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Stevenson tries to strike but it doesn't land. Stevenson trying to remain calm as Treen controls from the top position. Treen is putting a hurting on Stevenson here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Treen is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Treen decides to stand back up. Treen steps back and let's Stevenson get back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Treen scores with a crisp jab that stopped Stevenson in his tracks. Treen pushes Stevenson up against the cage in a clinch. Treen has hold of one of Stevenson's legs. Stevenson is fighting the takedown attempt but Treen gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

so Treen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Treen controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Stevenson is looking for a triangle but Treen pushes his legs off easily.
Stevenson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Treen controls the pace. Both fighters are breathing heavily. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Stevenson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Treen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Treen shoots in and bounces Stevenson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Treen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Treen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Treen stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Treen digs a good body shot into Stevenson's ribs. Treen throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Stevenson. Treen thumps Stevenson with a low kick. A punch combination from Treen misses. Treen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stevenson, pushing him back against the cage. Treen taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Treen looking for a takedown. Treen has Stevenson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stevenson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Stevenson wants to get back to striking at distance but Treen won't allow it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Treen is trying to control but can't.
Treen is trying is best to control the position here. Stevenson is looking to advance position but Treen won't allow it. Mickey Treen has got the better of the ground game so far. Stevenson wants to work for an arm triangle but Treen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Blake Stevenson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mickey Treen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Stevenson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Treen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stevenson.
And that's the end of the fight! Mickey Treen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Treen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
