Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dr James Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Drebin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dr James Andrews!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Drebin!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrews misses with a few strikes there.

Andrews darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Drebin can do anything to dispel that myth.

Andrews is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Drebin is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Andrews scores with the left hand. Drebin knows he should have avoided that one.

Drebin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Andrews tries to avoid it but Drebin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Andrews to the ground. Andrews escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Drebin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Andrews to the mat! Andrews manages to get full guard.
Drebin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Andrews rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Drebin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Andrews looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

I've got Drebin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
