Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Svenstroem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Mako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mako has chosen Broken Dreams By Shaman's Harvest as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svenstroem keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mako.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Mako is looking to clinch.
Mako shoots in looking for a takedown. Svenstroem tries to sprawl out of it but Mako keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Svenstroem manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Magnus Svenstroem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Svenstroem takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Svenstroem doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Mako counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Mako is just content to waste time from the top position. Svenstroem takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Mako pushing down on Svenstroem's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Svenstroem is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Svenstroem has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Mako. Oh but Svenstroem has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Mako goes limp - he's gone! Svenstroem jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
