Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tolga Kalabery! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brent Robertson! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kalabery shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Robertson as he jumps to the side. Robertson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Kalabery shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Robertson pinned against the cage. Robertson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kalabery fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Robertson avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tolga Kalabery. That's going to take a lot out of him. Robertson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Robertson slips a jab from Kalabery. Kalabery shoots for a takedown but Robertson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Robertson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Robertson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Kalabery fails to land the takedown. Kalabery stuffs the takedown attempt from Robertson. Robertson gets slowly back to his feet. Kalabery misses with a takedown and Robertson counters by moving into the clinch. Robertson stalling against the cage.
Kalabery tries to pull guard but Robertson won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kalabery stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Robertson swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kalabery throwing strikes but missing. Kalabery missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kalabery passes easily into side control. Nice work. Kalabery is trying to get an arm triangle but Robertson is defending well. Kalabery is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Robertson is trying to escape and Kalabery transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Robertson is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kalabery! Very nice indeed!
