Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ras Butten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Mashburn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Butten kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is El Guapo Theme Song. Mashburn has chosen Darkest Hour-Convalescence as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butten wants to clinch up but Mashburn keeps it at a distance.
Butten shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Butten tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mashburn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mashburn closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mashburn lands in his opponent's guard.

Mashburn connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Butten some visible discomfort.
Mashburn has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mashburn lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Butten down.

Mashburn is staying tight to Butten's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Butten tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Mashburn cranks the arm and Butten screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Butten, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
