Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ariel Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Junior is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I AM A CHAMPION. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anthony Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ariel Junior! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Junior closes this distance looking for a takedown but Johnson circles away. Johnson looks to land a combination. Junior sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Junior shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Johnson sprawls well. Johnson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Junior gets slowly back to his feet. Johnson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Junior. Anthony Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ariel Junior. Johnson throws a series of punches but Junior moves out of range. Junior is looking to clinch but Johnson is avoiding it.
Johnson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Johnson wants it to stay on the feet. Junior misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Johnson throws a hook but Junior blocks it. Junior on the wrong end of a nice jab. Junior shoots in but Johnson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Johnson clobbers Junior with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Junior looks gassed! Johnson misses with a two punch combination.
Junior scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
That's one minute gone in the round. Junior has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Junior there as he acknowledges the shot. Junior drives through and clinches with Johnson against the cage.
Johnson wants a takedown but no success here.

Junior has a closed guard, preventing Johnson from standing up. Junior wants to control the position but Johnson says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Johnson prevents Junior from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Junior. Johnson escapes and gets back to his feet. Anthony Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson jabs Junior to the body, keeping him at a distance. Johnson throws a series of punches but Junior moves out of range. Johnson throws a series of punches but Junior moves out of range. Johnson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Johnson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Johnson keeps the fight on the outside. Junior takes a jab right on the kisser.
Johnson connects with a jab. Johnson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Junior takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Johnson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. A nice combination there by Johnson.
Johnson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Junior takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Johnson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson lands with a good body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ariel Junior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson misses with a two punch combination.
Sloppy strikes from Johnson. Those never looked like landing. Johnson scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Johnson swinging wildly here.
Junior throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Junior off to one side. Johnson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Johnson lands a two punch combo.
Johnson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Johnson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Johnson throws a right hand that Junior ducks under and follows up with a left that Junior also avoids with ease. Johnson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Johnson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Junior circles away quickly and effectively. Junior takes a jab right on the kisser.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anthony Johnson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Anthony Johnson's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Johnson connects with a single shot there. Junior has Johnson up against the cage in a clinch.
Johnson tries to pull guard but Junior holds him up against the cage and eventually Johnson drops back down to his feet.
Junior gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Johnson.
Junior turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Junior manages to end up in side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson wants to get back to his feet but Junior is dominant here and he's now got Johnson's back! Junior is persistently looking for the submission but Johnson is defending it well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Junior is looking for the choke from the back position but Johnson is controlling his hands well. Junior wants to control but Johnson is keeping busy. Johnson wants to get back to his feet. Even with his hooks in, Junior manages to miss with strikes from the back. Johnson is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Junior trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Junior cracks Johnson with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Johnson from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Junior is trying to control but Johnson is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Junior looking to control but Johnson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Johnson can't escape the position.
Junior can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Johnson is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Junior thowing shots but they're missing. Johnson is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Junior locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Johnson is forced to tap!
