Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Pootawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hitz has chosen "Psycho" - DZK as his entrance music. Ralph Pootawn has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ralph Pootawn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Hitz! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Anthony Taglia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pootawn takes a swing at Hitz's ribcage but misses. Hitz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pootawn moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hitz fails to land the takedown. Pootawn gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hitz to score an easy takedown into full guard. Hitz throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Pootawn throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Hitz throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pootawn works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hitz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hitz looking to pass the guard. Pootawn avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Pootawn is trying to control the position but Hitz postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hitz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hitz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hitz looking to pass the guard. Hitz thows a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hitz is looking to work some ground and pound but Pootawn has wrist control. Hitz postures up.
Pootawn working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hitz. Pootawn pulls Hitz in close to his closed guard and prevents Hitz from doing any damage or advancing position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Pootawn wants to control but Hitz passes easily into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hitz stalling. Hitz throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Hitz is trying to control. Pootawn wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Hitz missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Hitz wants to pass to mount but Pootawn is defending the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hitz is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hitz thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Hitz is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Pootawn is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
