Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harold George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Harold George has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Harold George seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but George swivels and escapes.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cannon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
George looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
George throws a strike but Cannon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
George is looking for a triangle but Cannon pushes his legs off easily.
Cannon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cannon tries to free his leg and advance position but George is retaining full guard.
George is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
George seems to be working for a kimura but Cannon defends the submission attempt.
George thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cannon's head.

Cannon wants to get back to his feet.
Cannon makes his way to full guard, as George worked for a kimura.
Cannon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cannon looks gassed!
George is in close to Cannon's body, working some short punches and elbows.
George postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
George advances to half guard.
George decides to stand and escape the position.

George scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
George drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. George seems to have locked his on tight now - Cannon screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for George, as he picks up the win!
