The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers looks for a takedown but Haikala sprawls well.
Haikala misses with the combination.
Powers shoots in for a double leg but Haikala sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Haikala scores with a jab to the jaw.

Powers moves forwards but Haikala connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Powers fails with a takedown attempt.
Harri Haikala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenny Powers.
Haikala throws a wild body kick that Powers sees coming a mile off.
Haikala swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Haikala lands a big right hook! Powers looks hurt but is still standing! Haikala lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Powers falls down and Haikala dives in with a huge hammer fist! Powers's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Haikala runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
