Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Larson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JD Almanez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Larson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Here To Stay by Korn. Almanez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Wait And Bleed by Slipknot. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Larson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, JD Almanez! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Steve Montenegro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Larson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Larson looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Almanez wants to hold on but Larson pushes him away. Almanez is looking to improve his position but Larson isn't that keen on the idea. Almanez gets back to half guard. Larson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Almanez is just riding it out for now. Larson eventually gives up the hold. Almanez tries to get to full guard but Larson has control of the leg. Almanez is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Larson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Larson's back! Almanez lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Larson is having to fend off submission attempts from Almanez, who is looking to sink in the choke. Almanez doesn't have the hooks in though and Larson manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard. Almanez looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Larson is posturing up here but Almanez has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Larson tries to roll out but it's too tight and Larson has to tap! Slick submission there by Almanez!
