Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kuba Kubaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Omar Haseesh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haseesh has chosen Guns n Roses - Mr Brownstone as his entrance music. Kuba Kubaa has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haseesh scores with a three punch combo!
The fight stays on the outside here - Haseesh looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Haseesh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kubaa circles away quickly and effectively.
No joy there for Haseesh, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kubaa tries for a takedown but Haseesh sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kubaa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Haseesh paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Haseesh closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kubaa tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Haseesh smiles and moves away.

Haseesh moves into range and clinches up with Kubaa.

Haseesh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Kubaa shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Haseesh is trying to defend but Kubaa finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Haseesh is looking to escape.
Kubaa thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Kubaa wants to free his trapped foot but Haseesh is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Kubaa is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Kubaa wants to pass to mount but Haseesh is defending the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kubaa is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Kubaa looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Kubaa trying to control from Haseesh's half guard. Haseesh has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Haseesh is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kubaa is controlling him.
Kubaa wants to control from the top but Haseesh keeps moving.

Haseesh can't keep his opponent in guard - Kubaa advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kubaa works his way into full mount!
