Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Leite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Todd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miguel Leite looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Miguel Leite!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marco Todd!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leite shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Todd as he avoids it easily.
Todd scores with a sloppy right hand. Leite should have avoided that one.
Todd slaps away a takedown attempt from Leite, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Leite checks a low kick from Todd.
Leite takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Leite closes the distance and clinches up with Todd, looking for a takedown. Leite pushes Todd against the cage but Todd circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miguel Leite. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck for Leite with that takedown attempt.
Todd ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Miguel Leite seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leite is breathing heavily.
Leite tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Todd swivels and escapes.
Todd misses with a low kick.
Todd scoring well with a low kick there.
Leite takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Todd connects with a jab.
Todd scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Leite's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Todd connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Leite scrambles back to his feet.
Leite is rocked!
It looks like Miguel Leite has been cut.
Todd moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Oh Leite is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Leite shoots in looking for a takedown. Todd tries to sprawl out of it but Leite keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Todd manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Leite circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Todd. Leite falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Todd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Marco Todd!
