Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lamond Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith closes the distance looking to clinch
and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Johnson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Smith has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Johnson has managed to get both his arms back between Smith's legs - danger averted.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson preventing the sweep.
Smith wants to stand up but Johnson is controlling him.
Smith pulls Johnson in to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith looking for a sweep. Not yet Smith, not yet.
Smith manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Johnson tries to hold on but Smith pushes him away.
Smith takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Smith has isolated one of Johnson's arms. Johnson looking to fight him off but Smith twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
