Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marko Ceraj! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abdullah Something! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Something fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ceraj has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Something throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Something throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ceraj fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Something, pushing him back against the cage. Ceraj tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Something avoids it. Ceraj prevents Something from breaking the clinch. Something wants to break the clinch but can't.
Something wants to break free but Ceraj has control.
A frustrated look appears on Something's face as he tries to break the clinch. Something can't break the clinch.
Something has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. A frustrated look appears on Something's face as he tries to break the clinch. Ceraj will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Something up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ceraj fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Something wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Ceraj slows down the pace here.
Ceraj has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Something regains guard immediately. Ceraj thows a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Something working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ceraj. Ceraj drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Something dives on top into guard. Ceraj looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Something puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Ceraj has a hand on Something's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Something takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Something avoids the attempt from Ceraj to control. Ceraj has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ceraj is looking to get to half guard. Ceraj is working hard here to advance position. Ceraj is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Something wants to get back to his feet but Ceraj is holding on tight.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Something blocks Ceraj's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Ceraj slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Something wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Ceraj uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Ceraj is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ceraj is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Abdullah Something will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ceraj is looking to clinch but Something is avoiding it.
Something connects with a high kick.
It looks like Marko Ceraj has been cut. Something misses with a leg kick. Something throws a head kick that misses. Something throws a leg kick but Ceraj moved away. A chopping leg kick lands by Something. Ceraj scores with a shot to the body.

Marko Ceraj is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Something connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Something tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Something buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Something throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A solid leg kick lands there for Something.
Marko Ceraj seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ceraj avoids the head kick by Something.
Something lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ceraj crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Something - the referee stops the clock and Ceraj gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Something. Ceraj manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. A solid leg kick lands there for Something.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Something looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Something throws a quick inside leg kick. Something throws a head kick that misses. Abdullah Something is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Something feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ceraj's calf. A lazy body kick from Ceraj and Something counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Abdullah Something seems to be getting the better of the standup. Something fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ceraj. A good leg kick by Something. Ceraj takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Something lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ceraj's sensitive parts. Something turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Something looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Something plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Something throws a front kick that sends Ceraj stumbling back into the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Something lands a big head kick that sends Ceraj tumbling to the mat! Something takes a step backwards and waves Ceraj back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ceraj is rocked! Ceraj is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Something Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Ceraj is out cold, face down on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Abdullah Something!
