Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fryed McDonalds! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Llewellyn Thomas! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McDonalds pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thomas avoids the head kick by McDonalds.
McDonalds throws a head kick but Thomas moves out of range.
Thomas tries to clinch but McDonalds moves out of range. Thomas swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. McDonalds lands with a kick to the temple. Thomas shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" A head kick misses from McDonalds. McDonalds plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Thomas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Thomas is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Thomas stands up and waves to McDonalds to follow him.

A head kick by McDonalds misses and Thomas counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Thomas effectively controlling the action here. Thomas swings wildly with an uppercut but McDonalds uses good head movement to avoid it. McDonalds looking to throw knees to the head but Thomas is blocking nicely.

Thomas throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Thomas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Thomas wriggles free and stands up. A head kick by McDonalds misses and Thomas counters by moving into the clinch. McDonalds looking to throw knees to the head but Thomas is blocking nicely.

It looks like Fryed McDonalds has been cut. Thomas lands with a left to the head. Thomas looking to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thomas pulls guard successfully.
McDonalds won't allow Thomas to sweep him here. McDonalds wants to control from the top but Thomas keeps moving. Thomas is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Thomas throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Thomas controlling McDonalds's posture. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Llewellyn Thomas dominated that round. The cut man is working on Fryed McDonalds's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

McDonalds throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. McDonalds tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Thomas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

A head kick misses from McDonalds. Thomas throws a half hearted mid kick. McDonalds throws a head kick that misses and Thomas counters with a nice double leg into guard. Thomas pushes down on McDonalds's leg and manages to get into half guard. McDonalds is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thomas is trying to work for a kimura but McDonalds is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Thomas thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Thomas looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Thomas decides to stand up, so the ref orders McDonalds to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McDonalds misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thomas is looking to land body kicks. Thomas blocks a head kick by McDonalds.
McDonalds closes the distance looking to clinch and Thomas counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McDonalds! Thomas tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McDonalds has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Thomas controlling from the back. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Thomas has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, McDonalds has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Llewellyn Thomas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Fryed McDonalds's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

McDonalds throws a lazy head kick and Thomas counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Thomas sitting in guard here, content to control. Let's hope that Thomas has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Thomas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McDonalds swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McDonalds is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Thomas dives into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Thomas working the ground and pound. Llewellyn Thomas is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Thomas is staying tight to McDonalds's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Llewellyn Thomas has got the better of the ground game so far. Thomas's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Fryed McDonalds has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. McDonalds tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Thomas is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
And that's the end of the fight! Llewellyn Thomas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Thomas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
