Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Boy Kuyakoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aldin Arifi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arifi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kraddy - Android kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boy Kuyakoy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aldin Arifi! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arifi stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Kuyakoy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Arifi takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Kuyakoy clinches with his opponent.
Arifi tries to break the clinch but Kuyakoy is controlling the position. Arifi tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kuyakoy smiles and moves away.
Arifi misses with a double jab.
Arifi shoots for a double leg takedown but Kuyakoy sprawls well. He's pushed Arifi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kuyakoy misses with a combination
and Arifi counters with a series of strikes. Kuyakoy will be more careful next time no doubt. Arifi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Boy Kuyakoy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aldin Arifi.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arifi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kuyakoy can pounce on him.
Kuyakoy shoots in and gets a takedown into Arifi's guard. Kuyakoy wants to control from the top but Arifi keeps moving. Arifi is looking to stand up but Kuyakoy isn't so interested in that idea. Kuyakoy stays in close to Arifi's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kuyakoy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arifi swivels though and keeps the full guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Arifi has a closed guard, preventing Kuyakoy from standing up. Kuyakoy stops Arifi from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Boy Kuyakoy wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Arifi throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Kuyakoy counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Arifi's guard now. Kuyakoy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Arifi is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Arifi has escaped and now he's on top! Arifi preventing the sweep. Kuyakoy throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kuyakoy is breathing heavily. Kuyakoy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kuyakoy wants to sweep here but Arifi controlling him for the moment. Kuyakoy will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kuyakoy keeping moving, preventing Arifi from controlling successfully. Arifi thows a big elbow that misses. Arifi controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Arifi throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Arifi trying to control the position from guard on top but Kuyakoy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Arifi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Arifi makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Arifi trying to control the position from guard on top but Kuyakoy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Arifi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boy Kuyakoy dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Arifi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kuyakoy counters with a shoot takedown. Arifi fights it but they end up in guard. Arifi wants to sweep but no luck. Kuyakoy stops Arifi from standing up. Arifi uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kuyakoy stuffs the takedown. Arifi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kuyakoy circles away. Boy Kuyakoy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aldin Arifi. Arifi tries to keep at a distance but Kuyakoy has taken the fight into the clinch. Kuyakoy is trying to trip Arifi. He has hold of a leg but Arifi is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kuyakoy persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Arifi has a closed guard, preventing Kuyakoy from standing up. Kuyakoy thows a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Arifi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kuyakoy is one step ahead there. Kuyakoy wants to stand but Arifi has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Arifi pushes Kuyakoy off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kuyakoy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Good leg kick by Kuyakoy there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Arifi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kuyakoy fails with the takedown and Arifi counters with a two punch combo. Sloppy strikes from Arifi. Those never looked like landing. Kuyakoy misses with a body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kuyakoy scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Kuyakoy controlling the pace. Arifi wants to get back to his feet.
Arifi pushes Kuyakoy off and gets back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boy Kuyakoy dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Kuyakoy instigates a clinch. Kuyakoy has picked Arifi up - he's going for a ride! Kuyakoy dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Kuyakoy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Arifi keeps working. Arifi is looking for a sweep. Kuyakoy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kuyakoy not doing much here.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arifi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kuyakoy is working away from the top position though. Arifi wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Boy Kuyakoy just wasn't active enough. Arifi moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Arifi fails with the takedown and Kuyakoy counters with a nice double leg into side control. Arifi won't be happy with that. Kuyakoy laying and praying for a moment but Arifi takes advantage and regains half guard. Arifi wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Arifi keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Arifi looks like he's trying to stand up.
Arifi moves into full guard.
Aldin Arifi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boy Kuyakoy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Arifi keeping moving, preventing Kuyakoy from controlling successfully. Boy Kuyakoy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kuyakoy stands up and waves to Arifi to follow him. Kuyakoy lands a head kick!
And that's the end of the fight! Boy Kuyakoy showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kuyakoy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
