Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Ringo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dean Reed!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reed shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Reed throws a wild body kick that Ringo sees coming a mile off.

Reed decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Reed trying to mount his opponent but Ringo defends it.

Reed is working for a kimura but Ringo is defending it quite comfortably.
Ringo trying to hold on to Reed's head to control him but Reed postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reed performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Reed's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Ringo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Reed is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Reed has his foot on Ringo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ringo works his way back into a safe position though.

Ringo has gone for a leg lock! Reed slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ringo's guard.

Reed jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ringo is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ringo and Reed has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Ringo is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Reed has Ringo flattened out and is raining down punches.
