Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gustav Swift (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isaac Trajillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trajillo has chosen Enemy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gustav Swift! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Isaac Trajillo! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swift blocks a head kick by Trajillo.
Trajillo throws a nice looking combination but Swift bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Swift blocks a head kick by Trajillo.
Swift thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Trajillo if he has to take too many more of those.
Trajillo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Swift shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Trajillo as he avoids it easily. Swift looks to score with a jab to the body but Trajillo is just out of range. Swift tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Trajillo was well out of range. Poor timing from Swift. Trajillo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Swift to score an easy takedown into full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Trajillo throws a half hearted mid kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Swift fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Isaac Trajillo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Trajillo misses with a double jab.

Trajillo throws a hook but Swift avoids it easily. Trajillo misses the body punch and Swift counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Trajillo! Swift content just to control the position here. Swift looking to take Trajillo's back but Trajillo rolls and after a scramble, Trajillo ends up on top in guard. Nice escape there from Trajillo to escape a tricky position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swift bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Trajillo's guard. Swift showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Swift has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Trajillo wants to stand and escape but Swift is having none of it. Swift trying to control the position from guard on top but Trajillo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Swift wants to pass the guard but Trajillo is keeping the position. Swift slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Gustav Swift wasn't doing enough on the ground. Swift misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gustav Swift. That's going to take a lot out of him. Swift takes a swing at Trajillo's ribcage but misses. Swift changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. A kick lands to the mid section there for Trajillo. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gustav Swift dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Swift fails with the takedown. Trajillo throws a hook but Swift blocks it. Swift is looking to wear down Trajillo with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trajillo throws a head kick but Swift moves out of range.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Trajillo enables Swift to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Trajillo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Swift controls from within his opponent's guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Swift slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Swift keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Isaac Trajillo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Swift has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Trajillo.

Swift misses with a wild body shot. Trajillo looks to land a body kick but Swift moved away. Swift throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Trajillo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Swift is in Trajillo's guard. Trajillo is trying to control the position but Swift postures up. Swift trying to control the position from guard on top but Trajillo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Trajillo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Swift wants to control from the top but Trajillo keeps moving.

Trajillo throws a jab but it's blocked by Swift. Swift comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Trajillo getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Swift dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Swift uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Trajillo.

Gustav Swift dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Isaac Trajillo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Trajillo avoids the body shot from Swift.
Nice straight punches there by Trajillo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Trajillo. Trajillo throws a combination that misses and Swift counters with a takedown into side control. Swift is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Trajillo has escaped the position, nice work there. Trajillo can't do much from the bottom here. Swift in side control, just content to control the action for now.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Swift seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Trajillo for as long as he can get away with. Isaac Trajillo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Swift working away. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Trajillo throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Swift finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Swift fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Trajillo lands a nice looking body shot.
Swift looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Trajillo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Swift makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Swift shoots in but Trajillo avoids the takedown attempt easily. Swift avoids the head kick by Trajillo.

Swift keeps Trajillo at a distance using the push kick. Trajillo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Trajillo looks to throw the jab but Swift is out of range. Trajillo tries to bum rush Swift with a series of wild strikes but Swift uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Trajillo misses with a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Swift is trying hard to land a takedown here. Trajillo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gustav Swift. That's going to take a lot out of him. Trajillo walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Swift checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Swift misses with a wild body shot. Swift takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gustav Swift is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Swift steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Trajillo. Trajillo avoids the body shot from Swift.
Swift tries to score a power double leg takedown but Trajillo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Swift somewhat. Swift ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Gustav Swift showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Swift, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
