Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Cherry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Azeroth King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying King's choice of entrance music: Smooth Criminal. Pete Cherry has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cherry on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Cherry looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cherry throws a nice looking combination but King bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cherry bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Cherry has a takedown stuffed.
King lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Cherry backs up against the cage.
It looks like Pete Cherry has been cut.
Cherry throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Cherry.
Cherry is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. King knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
King is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Cherry has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Cherry wants to lay and pray for a moment but King keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cherry wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by King, who protects the arm well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
King is trying to get back to his feet.
Cherry tries to move to mount but King blocks the move with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Cherry working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
King is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Cherry is controlling him well.
King looks gassed!
King prevents Cherry from improving position.
Cherry is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
King wants to get back to his feet but Cherry is dominant here and he's now got King's back!

Cherry cracks King with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Cherry looking for a guillotine from mount but King is having none of it.
Cherry working for a submission but King is keeping him at bay.
Cherry thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Cherry tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Cherry is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but King is surviving well by controlling Cherry's body position as best he can.
This has been an exciting period of action!
King is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Cherry has taken his back.
Cherry has his arm under King's chin here. Game over son! Cherry squeezes tightly and King is forced to tap out!
