Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gracie Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Si Do Kan Karate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gracie Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Si Do Kan Karate! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie throws a nice looking combination but Karate bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Karate clobbers Gracie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Horrible takedown by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Karate which made him look bad. Karate throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Karate is in Gracie's guard. Gracie is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Karate accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Gracie working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Karate. Karate throws a big right hand that misses. Karate trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Gracie wants to get back to his feet but Karate is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Gracie preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie has his hands on Karate's head, controlling the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Gracie Gracie wasn't doing enough on the ground. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Karate is defended easily by Gracie. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Karate, as that shot connected.
Gracie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Karate sprawls well initially but Gracie persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Gracie not landing any meaningful shots this time. Karate wants to get back to full guard. Gracie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Gracie passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Karate!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karate's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Gracie has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Karate's face.
Gracie controlling his opponent. Karate looks gassed! The referee warns Karate that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Gracie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Gracie's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Gracie connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Gracie working for a guillotine from mount but Karate is in no mood to give up. Gracie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Karate is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gracie Gracie dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gracie shoots and misses and Karate counters with a left and a right that stings Gracie. Karate shoots and misses and Gracie counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Karate's guard now. Gracie sitting in guard here, content to control. Gracie gets to his feet - Karate follows without any prompting. Gracie Gracie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Karate displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gracie. Some bone on bone action there as Karate checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Karate counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gracie Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Karate is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gracie has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Karate is looking to defend but Gracie has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Karate! Gracie pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Karate taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Gracie Gracie!
