Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Peterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Tucker! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Peterson or perhaps it was just good defense by Tucker which made him look bad. Tucker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The fight stays on the outside here - Peterson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Tucker clinches. Tucker tries to break the clinch but Peterson is controlling the position. Peterson jumps guard but Tucker stands there with Peterson around his waist. Peterson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Tucker lands a hook to the side of the head. Tucker wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Peterson has him pressed against the cage. Peterson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tucker fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Peterson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Peterson tries to clinch and Tucker makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Tucker has Peterson up against the cage in a clinch.
Tucker goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Tucker wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Peterson looking for a takedown. Tucker should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Tucker. Tucker prevents the takedown attempt.
Tucker has had enough of the clinch but Peterson keeps him there for the moment. Peterson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Tucker prevents Peterson from breaking the clinch. Tucker wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Peterson has him pressed against the cage. Peterson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tucker gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Tucker can't break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tucker wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Peterson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Tucker struggling a bit here. Tucker prevents Peterson from improving position. Peterson wants to stand but Tucker has his arm trapped. Peterson is breathing heavily. Tucker tries to buck Peterson off but Peterson is having none of it. Tucker prevents Peterson from improving position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tucker struggling a bit here. Peterson is looking to take a break and control but Tucker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tucker regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tucker keeps control of the position for the meantime. Tucker is trying to stand.
Peterson not landing any meaningful shots this time. Tucker trying to hold on to Peterson's head to control him but Peterson postures up.
Tucker is holding on to half guard well. The fighters are battling for position here. Tucker manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Peterson trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Tucker manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Peterson is working an open guard so Tucker takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peterson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Peterson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tucker.
Peterson tries for a takedown but Tucker circles away easily and Tucker holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Tucker is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Tucker controlling the action here for a moment.

Peterson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Peterson with a lazy takedown attempt and Tucker counters with a straight right hand. Peterson tries a head kick but it misses.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Peterson! This one is all over!
