McCready throws a jab when Bryan was well out of range.

McCready lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
McCready fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bryan, pushing him back against the cage.

Bryan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Bryan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bryan creates some space and throws a big elbow, but McCready sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
McCready is trying to control Bryan's posture but Bryan avoids it.
McCready parries the strikes from Bryan easily there. Bryan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable McCready to escape.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Declan McCready.
I think McCready has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
