Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lester Wagstaff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels has chosen Kvelertak - Blodtørst as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lester Wagstaff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Daniels! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wagstaff as he avoids it easily. Wagstaff lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. That kick from Wagstaff tenderised Daniels's leg. Daniels is trying to keep his angry face on. Wagstaff tries to score with a low kick but Daniels moves his leg out of the way. Wagstaff misses with a low kick. Wagstaff is looking to slow Daniels down with leg kicks. Wagstaff takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Wagstaff throws a head kick that Daniels semi-blocks.
A head kick by Wagstaff misses and Daniels counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Wagstaff scores with a slapping inside leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wagstaff on the wrong end of a nice hook. Daniels throws a hook but Wagstaff avoids it easily. Lester Wagstaff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Daniels has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Daniels there as he acknowledges the shot. A low kick from Wagstaff misses and Daniels counters with a series of strikes. Wagstaff will be more careful next time no doubt. Wagstaff tries to land a leg kick but Daniels saw it coming and moves away.

A low kick from Wagstaff is predictable there and Daniels connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Wagstaff throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. This has been an exciting period of action! Wagstaff throws a leg kick which misses Daniels's front leg but catches the back leg as Daniels tries to avoid it. A lazy body kick from Wagstaff and Daniels counters with a lovely straight right hand! Wagstaff throws a nice inside leg kick. Wagstaff displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Daniels throws out the jab. Wagstaff thows a leg kick but Daniels checks it and Daniels counters with a three punch combo that has Wagstaff backing up. Wagstaff nods at Daniels to acknowledge the strikes. Wagstaff rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Daniels counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Wagstaff feints and then cracks Daniels's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Daniels down. Sloppy strikes from Daniels. Those never looked like landing. Good leg kick by Wagstaff there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wagstaff misses with a hook. Daniels ducked under it nicely. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Daniels crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wagstaff - the referee stops the clock and Daniels gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wagstaff. Daniels manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Daniels looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wagstaff throws out a leg kick but Daniels moves out of range and Wagstaff only half commits. Wagstaff moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Daniels avoids the head kick by Wagstaff.
Wagstaff does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Wagstaff misses with a low kick.

Wagstaff throws a low kick, looking for Daniels's leg but Daniels calmly moves out of range. Wagstaff tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Wagstaff shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. A momentary lapse in concentration from Wagstaff enables Daniels to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wagstaff manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Daniels is stalling in the full guard. Daniels wants to control from the top but Wagstaff keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daniels stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wagstaff swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wagstaff wants to sweep but no luck. Daniels wants to control from the top but Wagstaff keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Daniels advances to half guard. Wagstaff has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Daniels is working away from the top position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wagstaff moves away from the strike by Daniels. A chopping leg kick lands by Wagstaff. Daniels's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Daniels shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Daniels was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Wagstaff is trying desperately to improve position. Daniels wants to control the pace but Wagstaff is squirming around nicely. Wagstaff tries to get back to half guard but can't. That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Daniels controlling the pace for now. Daniels connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Daniels can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wagstaff is looking to escape. Wagstaff sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Daniels throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Daniels showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wagstaff stopping the sweep attempt from Daniels. Wagstaff gets to his feet. Daniels looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Daniels closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Daniels has an Americana. Wagstaff didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Daniels is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Daniels hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
