Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Stepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stepp keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stepp tries to close the distance and clinch up but Man swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stepp misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Stepp shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Stepp is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Man regains full guard. Nicely done.

Stepp drops back looking for a leg! Man is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Man manages to kick Stepp off! Stepp jumps back into Man's guard.
Man bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stepp's guard.
Stepp looking to hit a scissor sweep but Man is one step ahead there.

Man drops back looking for a leg! Stepp is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stepp manages to kick Man off! Man jumps back into Stepp's guard.
Stepp avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Man works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Man throwing shots but Stepp is blocking nicely.
Man wants to pass to mount but Stepp is defending the position.

Stepp blocking the ground and pound attempt from Man.
Man tries to pass to full mount but Stepp defends it.
Man stops Stepp from getting back to his feet.
Still in half guard, Man seems content to control.
Stepp is not content to let Man control the position.
Stepp is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Man moves nicely into side control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Stepp is trying to control Man's posture but Man avoids it.
Stepp is pushing Man's head away, looking to escape. Man manages to hold on to the position though.
Stepp is breathing heavily.
Man tries to move to mount but Stepp blocks the move with his legs.
Stepp is looking for a sweep.

Man is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Stepp has escaped the position, nice work there.
Stepp knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Man on the ground.
Man trying to control the position but Stepp is working away.

Stepp is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Man has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Stepp!

Man jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Stepp manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Stepp avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Man.

Man is working to tighten is grip on Stepp's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Stepp has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Man is really squeezing tight and eventually Stepp passes out! Man breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
