Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Papa Domingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Papa Domingo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Perry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Papa Domingo! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Domingo scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Domingo trying to control the position but Perry is working away. Perry struggling a bit here. Perry is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Domingo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Domingo is looking to take a break and control but Perry is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Perry is looking to regain half guard here but Domingo keeps moving and retains side control. Domingo tries for a kimura but Perry is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perry is not content to let Domingo control the position. Domingo happy to just control the position for now. Perry is looking to regain half guard here but Domingo keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Domingo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Perry keeps working. Perry is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Domingo's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Domingo is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Perry reverses the position - he's now on top in Domingo's guard. Perry missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perry wants to control from the top but Domingo keeps moving. Domingo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Domingo keeping moving, preventing Perry from controlling successfully. Perry looking to pass the guard. Perry is working hard here to advance position. Perry stays in close to Domingo's body and controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Chuck Perry has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Domingo fails with a takedown attempt. Domingo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Perry is trying to defend but Domingo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Perry is looking for a sweep. Domingo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Perry is refusing to be controlled, as Domingo sits in half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Perry trying to hold on to Domingo's head to control him but Domingo postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Papa Domingo dominated that round. That's time! Perry's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Perry. Domingo is looking for a sweep. Perry is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Domingo stuck in half guard on the bottom here. Perry tries to move to mount but Domingo blocks the move with his legs. Domingo is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perry tries for a kimura but Domingo is defending well. Perry misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Perry creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Domingo sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Perry trying to control the action but Domingo is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Perry staying calm. Perry tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Domingo is not content to let Perry control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Domingo is trying to control Perry's posture but Perry avoids it. Domingo keeps Perry under control for a moment.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Domingo with a lazy takedown attempt and Perry counters with a takedown into side control. Perry trying to control the action but Domingo is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Domingo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Perry thows a huge punch but Domingo dodges it nicely.
Perry is figuring out what he wants to do next. Perry is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Domingo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Domingo. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Perry dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Domingo with a lazy takedown attempt and Perry counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Domingo keeping moving, preventing Perry from controlling successfully. Perry throws and elbow that misses. Domingo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Perry's guard. Nice move by Domingo! Perry wants to stand and escape but Domingo is having none of it. Perry looking to control.
Perry looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Perry working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Domingo. Perry manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Perry lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Perry looking to control but Domingo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Chuck Perry overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Domingo wants to control but Perry is having none of it. Perry trying to control but Domingo is having none of it. Domingo manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perry seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Domingo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Perry sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Domingo defending well though. Perry is looking to pass Domingo's guard but actually Domingo recovers to full guard. Perry trying to control the position from guard on top but Domingo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perry looking to sit in guard and control but Domingo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Perry is trying to hold Domingo in close to prevent damage but Domingo has managed to pass into half guard.
Still in half guard, Domingo seems content to control. Perry tries to roll over but Domingo keeps him under control. Domingo stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Perry wants to control but Domingo is keeping busy.
Domingo moves nicely into side control. Perry is not content to let Domingo control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Chuck Perry showed his dominance in that final round. Well Perry has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
