Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Craig Bowie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Upercut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Craig Bowie could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lance Upercut's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Craig Bowie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lance Upercut! The judges for this bout are , and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bowie is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bowie stuffs the takedown. Upercut shoots in for a takedown but Bowie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bowie misses with a series of wild punches.
Bowie tries to clinch up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Upercut circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bowie wants to clinch up but Upercut keeps it at a distance. Bowie fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bowie moves out of range of the body kick from Upercut.
Bowie stuffs the takedown attempt from Upercut. Upercut gets slowly back to his feet. Craig Bowie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lance Upercut. The fight stays on the outside here - Bowie looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bowie tries to clinch up but Upercut circles away and keeps his distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Upercut changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bowie tries to avoid it but Upercut manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bowie to the ground. Bowie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Upercut closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Upercut content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Upercut wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bowie keeps working. Upercut is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Upercut thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Bowie knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Upercut on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Well, if Upercut is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Upercut looks to land a strike but Bowie avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Upercut stays in close to Bowie's body and controls the position. Bowie is breathing heavily.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Lance Upercut wasn't active enough on the ground. Bowie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Upercut closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bowie to the mat! Bowie manages to get full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Upercut pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bowie is keeping the position for now. Upercut drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Upercut jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Upercut wants to pass the guard but Bowie is keeping the position. Upercut advances position into side control! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Upercut working the body and head with strikes. Upercut throwing shots but missing, from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lance Upercut dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Upercut fails with a takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Upercut. Upercut swats away the attempt to clinch by Bowie. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Upercut drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Upercut creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Upercut controlling the position. Upercut has hold of Bowie's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Bowie seems comfortable defending it but Upercut has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Bowie is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Bowie is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Upercut couldn't care less - he's delighted!
