The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson tries to close the distance and clinch but jeffers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
jeffers wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Thompson thows a body shot but no joy.
jeffers lands with an uppercut that bounces Thompson off the ropes and back into rage.
It looks like Bob Thompson has been cut.
jeffers connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Thompson is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
jeffers feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Thompson sprawling to the canvas! Thompson rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can jeffers finish him?!
Thompson is rocked!
Crack! jeffers connects with the perfect overhand right and Thompson falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for jeffers!
