Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quincy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Roy Jones Jr - Can't Be Touched. Sean Evans has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans misses with a hook
and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Both fighters circling a little - Evans finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Evans was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones.
Evans misses with a combination
and Jones makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Evans.
Jones just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones misses with a hook. Evans ducked under it nicely.
Evans rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jones scores with a decent looking hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Evans throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Evans takes one to the side of the head.
Jones misses with a double jab
and Evans counters by clinching up.

Evans stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Evans keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jones's efforts to push away.

Evans breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Evans throws a right and a left that both miss.

Evans closes the distance and clinches.
Evans lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
Evans is pushing Jones up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Evans gets through Jones's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Jones misses with a punch on the inside.
Jones swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A short body shot lands from Evans as the two fighters clinch.

Jones seems to have recovered his senses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Evans takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Evans pushes Jones back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Evans lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Evans lands with a short shot to the head.
Evans has Jones pushed against the cage.
Evans scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Evans breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Evans has hold of one of Jones's legs. Jones is fighting the takedown attempt but Evans gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Evans is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jones can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
A nice elbow there by Evans.
Jones is bucking up trying to escape but Evans cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Evans lands a heavy elbow.
Evans looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Jones covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
