The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
toisio tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vasiliev swivels and escapes.
Vasiliev tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
toisio misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
toisio tries to clinch but Vasiliev moves out of range.
Vasiliev shoots in but no luck this time.
toisio connects with a leg kick. Vasiliev looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Vasiliev is breathing heavily.

and Vasiliev counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps toisio thinking.
Allessandro Vasiliev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of ensio toisio.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Oh but toisio is tightening it up a little... Vasiliev has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Vasiliev reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Vasiliev taps out! nice BJJ there by toisio!
