And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Gailfus.

Rizzo feints and as Gailfus raises his hands in defense, Rizzo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rizzo pushing down on Gailfus's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Rizzo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gailfus keeps working.
Gailfus has a hand on Rizzo's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Rizzo takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Gailfus is looking to improve his position but Rizzo isn't that keen on the idea.
Gailfus tries to hold on but Rizzo postures up.
Rizzo is landing with some decent strikes but Gailfus is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Rizzo is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gailfus can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Gailfus tries to improve his position but Rizzo has taken his back! Rizzo has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Gailfus tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Rizzo pushes Gailfus away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
