Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Carrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Palmer Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carrey comes to the cage accompanied by When the man comes around - Johnny Cash. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Palmer Collins! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carrey throws a series of punches but Collins avoids them all with ease. Collins misses with an attempted mid kick.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Collins. Carrey is looking to reverse the position. Collins tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Carrey is looking for a sweep. Carrey sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Carrey is looking for a sweep. Collins is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Collins is keen to just control but Carrey is a slippery customer. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Carrey wants to improve his position but Collins is controlling well.

That was a close round but I would say that Jim Carrey will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Carrey rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Collins moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Carrey throws a nice looking combination but Collins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
