Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronald McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Roza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McDonald might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to EARTH CRISIS: DESTROY THE MACHINES. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ronald McDonald! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justin Roza! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Roza misses. Justin Roza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McDonald tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Roza manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Roza throws a hook to the side of McDonald's head but McDonald sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. McDonald on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Roza throws a right and a left that both miss. Roza uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McDonald. The fight stays on the outside here - McDonald looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A head kick misses from McDonald. Roza shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McDonald's guard. Roza drops back, looking for a kneebar! McDonald looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McDonald looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McDonald! Roza is looking for a sweep.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Roza wants to control but McDonald postures up. McDonald trying to control the action but Roza is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Roza is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Roza is doing well to control the position and prevent McDonald from advancing to side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Roza wants to get back to full guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Ronald McDonald just wasn't active enough. Roza shoots in and drives through. McDonald sprawls well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roza shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McDonald sprawls well. McDonald wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Roza gets slowly back to his feet. McDonald tries to clinch up. McDonald uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Roza.

McDonald tests Roza's chin there with a solid looking shot. A looping hook to the body misses from McDonald. Roza does a little dance to reset his feet. McDonald scores with a head kick. Roza tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Roza throws a big shot that misses. Roza misses with a hook. McDonald ducked under it nicely. Roza looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. McDonald throws a good cross that connects.

Roza waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract McDonald. A slow jab from Roza misses its intended target. Nice takedown defense from McDonald. No joy for Roza on that attempt. McDonald jabs Roza to the body, keeping him at a distance.

McDonald throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Roza's head. Roza throws a combination that misses and McDonald counters with a left to the body. McDonald is looking to wear down Roza with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. McDonald throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
McDonald moves into the clinch. Roza throws a head punch that misses. Roza throws a head punch that misses. Roza tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. McDonald controlling the action here for a moment.
