The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Beez or perhaps it was just good defense by Fauatea which made him look bad.
Beez gets the takedown into side control.
Beez throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Beez has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Beez can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fauatea is looking to escape.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fauatea can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fauatea is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Beez looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Beez seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fauatea for as long as he can get away with.

Beez breaks from Fauatea's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Beez has hold of Fauatea's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fauatea manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's time! Beez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Beez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Fauatea bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Beez's head backwards.
Fauatea throws a series of punches but Beez moves out of range.

Beez shoots in for a double leg but Fauatea sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Fauatea counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Beez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Killa Beez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nice uppercut lands for Fauatea. That snapped Beez's head back.
Fauatea stalks Beez and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Beez's face. Beez staggers backwards, shaken.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Fauatea counters with a series of strikes. Beez will be more careful next time no doubt.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Fauatea enables Beez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fauatea manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Beez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Beez passes Fauatea's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Beez fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That was a close second round but I would say that Killa Beez will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Beez has an Americana. Fauatea didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Beez is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Beez hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
