Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitsu Bishi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Mourke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mourke pinned against the cage. Mourke gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Mourke closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Mourke tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bishi knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mourke wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bishi keeps working.
Bishi is trying to get back to full guard.
Mourke is nestled in close to Bishi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Still in half guard, Mourke seems content to control.
Bishi could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bishi manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Bishi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mourke controls the pace.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Bishi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mourke gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Bishi goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Mourke turns into him and now he's in Bishi's guard.

Bishi has his foot on Mourke's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mourke works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mourke lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Mourke is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Bishi is pressing down on Mourke's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Bishi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Mourke wants to control from the top but Bishi keeps moving.
Mourke is looking to work some ground and pound but Bishi has wrist control.

Bishi isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mourke stacks Bishi on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mourke!

You can see the frustration on Bishi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Mourke creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

It looks like Mitsu Bishi has been cut.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Mourke counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Bishi! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Mourke!
