Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Im Arsch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Adonis Silva! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arsch swinging wildly here.
Arsch digs a good hook to Silva's body.
Arsch throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease. Silva looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
No joy there for Arsch, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

It looks like Adonis Silva has been cut. Silva dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Arsch. That did some damage! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Arsch drops Silva with a beautiful combination! Silva stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Arsch is looking for the KO! Silva throws a nice outside leg kick. Arsch is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.
A chopping leg kick lands by Silva. Arsch throws a right and a left that both miss. Silva fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Arsch. Arsch on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Silva. Silva obviously looking to wear him down.
Silva scores with a takedown into Arsch's guard. Silva throwing strikes but missing. Silva not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Arsch on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Arsch tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. I looks like Silva might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Let's hope that Silva has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Adonis Silva was stalling too much, according to the referee. Silva goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Arsch connects with a looping right hand.
That has opened up Adonis Silva's cut even more. Silva shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Arsch's guard. Silva showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Silva controlling from the top position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Silva prevents Arsch from getting back to his feet.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Adonis Silva wasn't active enough on the ground. A chopping leg kick lands by Silva. Silva lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Silva buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Im Arsch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Arsch is breathing heavily. A nice leg kick lands there from Silva. Silva closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Arsch did well to prevent Silva getting side control. Silva takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Silva's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Arsch trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Arsch avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Silva fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Arsch has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Arsch throws a left and a right that both miss

A chopping leg kick lands by Silva. Adonis Silva seems to be getting the better of the standup. Silva feints and then cracks Arsch's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Arsch down. Silva connects with a nice looking jab.
Silva gets a takedown into half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Arsch taking some punishment here, with Silva in his half guard. Silva drops an elbow to the side of Arsch's head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Silva perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Silva has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Silva has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Adonis Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Arsch in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Silva sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Silva cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
And that's the end of the fight! Adonis Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
