Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Christian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JeanGuy Rubberboot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rubberboot is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze (Breaks Mix) . Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubberboot throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Christian was covering up waiting for the punch and Rubberboot finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Rubberboot slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Christian is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Rubberboot content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Rubberboot throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Christian regains half guard there - taking advantage of Rubberboot's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Rubberboot thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rubberboot not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Still in half guard, Rubberboot seems content to control.
Christian is refusing to be controlled, as Rubberboot sits in half guard.
Rubberboot is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by JeanGuy Rubberboot.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rubberboot.
Rubberboot works Christian's body with a nice hook.
Christian feints and then cracks Rubberboot's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rubberboot down.
Rubberboot clobbers Christian with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Christian throws a leg kick that is checked
and Rubberboot counters with a left and a right that stings Christian.
Christian misses with a combination
and Rubberboot counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Rubberboot uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Christian.
Rubberboot shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rubberboot was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Rubberboot wants to finish this one by submission but Christian is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Rubberboot.
Rubberboot goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Christian is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Christian is looking to work some ground and pound but Rubberboot has wrist control.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Christian's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rubberboot is on top in guard.
Christian being controlled here, momentarily.
Rubberboot wants to get up but he can't break Christian's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Rubberboot is looking to work some ground and pound but Christian has wrist control.
Rubberboot wants to stand but Christian has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Christian on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Christian tries to get out of the position.
Rubberboot pushing down on Christian's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rubberboot in particular looking to stall.
Christian is defending against the submission attempts here by Rubberboot.
Rubberboot maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Christian could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Rubberboot has cracked it and Christian is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Rubberboot!
