Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Duncan Harty!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anakin Richards!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Harty really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Harty ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Richards moves away.
Harty misses with a looping left.
Richards takes one to the chin there.
Richards lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Richards takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Harty fails to land with a series of punches.
Richards lands a nice leg kick that just misses Harty's sensitive parts.
Harty on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Richards. Richards obviously looking to wear him down.
Harty will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Richards looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Harty throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Richards scores with a jab.
Richards displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Harty swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice shot lands for Richards.
A big left from Harty misses.
Harty throws a left and a right that both miss
and Richards counters with a thumping low kick.
Richards lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Harty backs up against the cage.
Richards scores with a nice head shot.
Richards lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Harty is breathing heavily.
Richards lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Richards throws a combination. Harty tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Danga de danga de dang - Richards scores with a four punch combination!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Richards bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Harty is rocked!
Richards throws a quick inside leg kick.
Oh Harty is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Harty is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Richards steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Harty is out on his feet! Richards sets himself and nearly takes Harty's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
