Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between DJ Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Swearingen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, DJ Nelson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson shoots in and drives through. Swearingen sprawls well.
Swearingen moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Nelson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nelson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Swearingen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Nelson prevents Swearingen from escaping the position.
Swearingen manages to work his way to half guard, despite Nelson's best efforts.

Swearingen is trying to escape back to his feet but Nelson uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Nelson wants to free his trapped foot but Swearingen is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Swearingen tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Swearingen pushes Nelson off looking to stand but Nelson dives back in and keeps control.

Swearingen is doing well to control the position and prevent Nelson from advancing to side control.
Nelson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Swearingen keeps working.
Nelson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Swearingen wants to clinch up but Nelson keeps it at a distance.
Nice sprawl there from Swearingen as Nelson shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for DJ Nelson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Swearingen shoots for a takedown but Nelson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Nelson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Swearingen uses from the top position.

Nelson wants to get back to his feet but Swearingen is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Swearingen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nelson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nelson is working an open guard so Swearingen takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Nelson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Swearingen gets underhooks to prevent Nelson's takedown attempt.

Swearingen tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Nelson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nelson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Swearingen is trying to control Nelson's posture but Nelson avoids it.
Swearingen prevents Nelson from moving into mount.

Swearingen is not content to let Nelson control the position.
Swearingen wants to control but Nelson postures up.
Swearingen manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Nelson is looking for a sweep. Swearingen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Swearingen seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Nelson can't escape the position.
Swearingen lands with some strikes.
Nelson tries to lock up and control but Swearingen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Nelson is looking to improve his position but Swearingen isn't that keen on the idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Charlie Swearingen will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nelson throws a right hand that misses
and Swearingen counters with a three punch combo that has Nelson backing up. Nelson nods at Swearingen to acknowledge the strikes.
Nelson shoots and misses
and Swearingen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nelson is rocked!
Nelson is looking to clinch but Swearingen is avoiding it.
Oh Nelson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fight stays on the outside here - Nelson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Swearingen misses with a two punch combination.
Swearingen drops Nelson with a huge uppercut! Nelson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Swearingen is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
